Manuscripts

If you would like us to consider publishing a book or pamphlet of your work, we ask that you first submit a few poems to our magazine (see below). We try to encourage all our authors to take part in the co-operative and collaborative ethos of the Conversation project, so please do try to get to know us before sending a manuscript.

The Conversation Papers

The Conversation Papers is a free-to-view online magazine published twice a year. Submissions are open all year round.

Poetry

  • We welcome submissions from all over the world in the English language, or accompanied by English translations.
  • Up to 6 poems of any length and style. We recommend reading past issues before submitting, though we are always open to interesting new forms of poetry and subject matter.
  • Include a short biography explaining a little about yourself.
  • Due to the number of poems that we receive, please allow up to 10 weeks for a response.
  • Submit online  in .doc, .docx or .rtf format at poetry@conversationpoetry.co.uk

Reviews/Essays/Articles

  • If you have an idea for a book, pamphlet or event review, or an article or essay, please send a brief proposal to paperpress@conversationpoetry.co.uk
  • Please get to know the magazine and its content before submitting.
  • There are no word limits.
  • Unsolicited reviews, essays and articles are accepted, though with no guarentee of publication.
  • Documents should be sent in .doc, .docx or .rtf format.
